Introduction
The Starbase can be built in 24h spending 1,000,000 Minerals 
and Gas 
. The Starbase contains many new and unique rooms that help in its defence, or used to give benefits to its fleet members.
The benefits that it offers to the player is rather small, but helpful. When your being attacked, the Starbase will launch bombs at the enemy ship every 20 or so seconds that deals .3 damage. This cannot be dodged and allows for annoying chip damage. If you build the Printer in the Starbase you can also collect free Starbux 
daily.
If your alliance is in the top 100 the starbase can be raided and supplies can be stolen. If the attack succeeds, you get a 24 hour cooldown, if not you get an 8 hour one. The starbase can also equip unique weapon rooms and you can use borrowed crew to defend it.
To raid a Starbase, go to the list of top 100 fleets. A timer should be there next to the ones with a starbase. If you wait till it ends it gives you the option to raid. This raid puts you against the Starbase, winning gives a lot of the Starbase's supplies to your own Fleet's Starbase.

Currently to obtain Supplies 
for a Starbase, you must donate resource crates. Each crate gives a set amount of Supplies that can be used for the Starbase. You can also donate Starbux to the Starbase to speed up builds or for Starbase Researches. Along with that, you can donate Land Mines for defense.
When you donate something, it will automatically appear in chat (See image 2). Along with that, any spending of Starbux on the Starbase will also appear in chat.

Extended Starbase Upgrade Costs
This extension unlocked automatically, these ships have a special bit of extra space that can be taken up by any room. The trade off is that you have one less ship health compared to non extended starbases. You can simply go to the Shipyard and buy the extension for 5K Starbux . After that, your able switch back and forth between your bases for free (1 Hour Delay). Note that if you have bought an extension, the next levels will be unlocked for free (1 Hour Delay).
